Is life easier for the teenagers of the current time compared to the old ’90s? According to my experience, people have different perspectives and opinions about this topic. I suppose life has become a lot easier for the present time teenagers.
In the 90s, the perspective of life was diverse from the current era. Teenagers were discouraged from going to school as their parents were not aware of the importance of education. Families used to be larger back then, and looking for bread was the only priority. That’s why they pushed up their kids to facilitate them in running businesses. Similarly, some teenagers had to work on the farm, while others had to perform hard labour such as helping run the shop of their forefathers.
More notably, there were no schools and colleges in remote areas, so they had no opportunities. On top of that, undeveloped countries had insufficient resources to promote education in their states. Poverty and low income were other suitable causes for them to resist an education. Instead, if I talk about the current situation, it is reversed.
While in the current era, parents are conscious of the importance of education. Their concern is to provide a better future for their kids. Therefore, they work hard to accomplish this dream. In the bargain, parents motivate children to study in prominent educational institutions and demand higher grades from them.
They provide sufficient resources such as teachers, libraries and the internet to assist their kids’ studies. Parents do not provide their children with any forms of burden except studies. Even during the exam, they deter them from contributing to extra-curricular activities like joining a football club, learning to swim, attending art classes, cricket tournaments, etc.
Thus, we have come to the conclusion that today’s teenagers are enjoying a much better, easier and more luxurious life than the previous generations.
