birthday surprise

Write a letter to your friend, and tell him about your unexpected birthday surprise which he was unable to attend.

Dear Jack,

Hello! How are things going for you? I hope everything is well with you. Yesterday, I sent you an e-mail describing my trip, which I spent with a spider in an abandoned house. It all started while I was sleeping. Suddenly, I heard a bumping, muffled noise from the end of the house that cautioned me. I purposefully approached that location to catch out on the matter.

Soon, I headed over to the third room from the left. I realized the sound came from inside. I was shivering with anxiety like it was a true nightmare. My chest felt like it was pounding. I pushed the door bravely, yet it was locked. I observed a spider over there that kept on hitting the door. I repeatedly tried to kick the door forcefully with him, and it eventually broke. I switched on my torch, but it would not function. I barged into the room and saw a table with some plates on it.

The door was unexpectedly closed, and I could not hear the spider anymore. At that moment, someone turned on the lights, and I observed it was a birthday surprise party. Except for you, all of our friends were present; I believe no one informed you about it. I wanted to surprise you with this letter. I will wait for your response anxiously.

With love,

Tom
