I had been exuberant since the nighttime. I was restless and kept thinking about the field trip much of the time. Hence, it was tough to get up early for school. Somehow, I took a short nap and started preparing for the trip as I was eager to arrive early at school.
While I entered from the gate, I observed students were already at the sports ground, gearing up for their departure. They all were excitedly plotting the activities available once they arrived at the destination. Soon, we headed to the bus; I grabbed a front seat to enjoy the journey. Despite the route being lengthy, we were neither exhausted nor dull. We passed through high mountains, staggering sceneries, numerous factories and oil-extracting plants. In short, within an hour, we reached our destination: Jungle Land.
The staff members working there welcomed us at the gate. We proceeded through the magnificently-decorated entrance to a giant tent. In the beginning, we marched to the circus area. The fully-prepared trainer’s team reached the spot to show. It was a tremendous display of tricks and skills by lions in the circus. There were some monkeys as well, who were dancing to musical instruments rhythm.
Subsequently, we headed to the rides section. It was the most joyful moment that we were waiting for. I took all the rides. Most of the rides were thrilling, while some were horrific. I made sure to experience every ride except the roller-coaster since it was too chaotic and terrifying. Anyway, I tried roller-coaster too after some persuasion from my friends and professor.
Our next visit was to the zoological garden. We could see different animals there, such as; elephants, monkeys, parrots, and tigers in cages. I even provided food to the monkeys and parrots. Some endangered species that require special care were also present at the zoo.
We were offered food packages by the school management, and along with it, we were free to purchase other items from the cafeteria. Later, with my friends, I wandered around the whole area and passed through different stalls and shops. We bought a few souvenirs and a watch for our professor as well.
Towards the end of the trip, we were escorted to see extinct species and valuable antiques in the museum. Here, we were provided with a brief detail about them. Surprisingly, vast emphasis was given by the administration on enlightening us about the history of our country and thanks to them, I learned a lot that day.
At this point, the trip was over, and we sat on the bus to return. We all were already feeling weary, so the journey to school was tedious. At last, we safely reached school. What a marvellous experience it was!
